German Elementary School Teacher is going to Train Kenyan Firefighters
The German firefighter and elementary school teacher Fred Schulze is going to travel to Kabernet to train the local firefighters.

German Firefighter trains his african compansions
In July, one firefighter from Oberoderwitz (Germany) will travel to Kabernet to train his fellows. He will teach them general tactics and the handling of the equipment.

Thanks to the Fire Dept. Barnstorf, Burtenbach, Spitzkunnersdorf and Leezen from Germany.
We got a lot of equipment and personal protection clothes. The donations will help our professional and volunteer teams.
In the future, we are able to support our neighbour Countys.

Historic day for the Fire Dept. Baringo County
On Friday afternoon, Officials of the Fire Dept. were handed over in a ceremony another fire engine (fire engine 3) and special protection equipment from German donors worth over Sh30M at Kabarnet Town.
During the handing over ceremony at Museum grounds show up to receive the fire engine and firefighting equipment’s which are worth more than 100 million Kenyan money.
"Next year, we are planning to bring in more fire engines, to be distributed to each sub county," revealed Schwenk Klaus (Head ProKapsogo).
Joshua Kandie, also hinted that, he has talked with the German support team of the FD Baringo to continue sponsoring projects within the County.
"Apart from the fire engines, we already have an Ambulance in Germany which only awaits the County government to provide money for transporting it to Baringo" said Kandie.
The FDBC is now one of
the best equipped fire departments throughout Kenya.

Open House Day
Visit us on Monday, 2nd February 2016 in Kabarnet. We present on an Open House Day the Fire Dept. Baringo County. Besides visiting our emergency vehicles, you will receive informations about the newly established volunteer fire service and about future projects like the construction of the emergency monitoring station (completed in July 2016).

Members discussed about future projects.
A national bill on fire and disaster is forthcoming in Kenya. Baringo County is one of the countries to be benchmarked.
